The 'Early Golden' persimmon is one of the older cultivated varieties of this less common fruit. Produces large orange fruit that develop their unique sweet flavor while ripening during the cool autumn nights. This variety is self fertile. The plant itself is quite adaptable and easy to grow, developing into a medium sized tree with time.
