This selection of our native black aronia is really more of a groundcover than a shrub. 'Ground Hug' stays low and dense to form a mat of glossy green foliage decorated with white flowers in spring and black berries in late summer. This tough little plant is adaptable to a wide spectrum of conditions, benefits pollinators, and displays fantastic fall color. Perfect for bank stabilization or filling gaps between larger plants in the garden - looks better than mulch!
