An upright, slender to conical form with dark green foliage. A comparatively vigorous grower adding 6-8" per year. Makes a wonderful specimen that develops a most graceful form with little to no pruning required. Adaptable to various soils as long as drainage is sufficient. Once established it is relatively drought tolerant. Best siting will receive decent sunlight but be sheltered from strong winds and intense winter sun. Very old specimens may attain greater size.
