Used as a tea but has a life beyond the kitchen as a springy, drought tolerant (once established) groundcover that is hardy to zone 4. Releases an apple-y fragrance when walked on. This is the species used since the Middle Ages in making a traditional 'chamomile lawn.' Good for low-traffic locations between stepping stones, as an edging, or as special place to relax.
