A collective of Vermont artists join together to offer an interdisciplinary immersive performance tour throughout the beautiful Horsford Gardens and Nursery grounds. Live music, poetry, theater, dance, performance. An annual summer happening produced by Hanna Satterlee/ANIMAL Dance as part of the Horsford Art in the Garden series. Come delight!
Please note this is an immersive moving performance tour and all audience members will be traveling from site to site together as a group. Customers with walkers, canes and wheelchairs have found the property to be accessible, but please be in touch with Hanna with your accessibility questions/needs. Bring your own chair if you would like to sit at each site. There is no bathroom or water available so please plan accordingly. Park tight and carpool if you can! Doors open 6:45pm show starts promptly at 7pm. Horsford's is located at 2608 Ethan Allen Highway / Route 7, Charlotte, VT. Please use the main Route 7 entrance.
About the Event Producer: Hanna Satterlee creates performance experiences and conceptual artworks for stage, site and film. Hanna holds degrees and certifications in dance therapy, psychology, performance, choreography, vinyassa/yin/restorative yoga, non-profit management and arts integration. Hanna shares these passions as an intergenerational educator, interdisciplinary performer + collaborator, experimental curator and event producer. In May ’17 Hanna founded the Vermont Dance Alliance, and served as the Executive Director through June 2021. Hanna launched ANIMAL Dance in December 2022, a performance and production company based in Burlington Vermont. Hanna is as passionate for the form of dance as she is in connecting people to it.
