Thick foliage of heart shaped variegated leaves remain looking nice until frost. In early spring pink sprays of buds open into blue flowers. Tolerates heat and humidity much better than other varieties, but best kept in rich, evenly moist soil. Good for containers and woodland borders, or as slow growing ground-cover.
