This redbud is a cross between C. canadensis Ruby Falls' and C. canadensis 'The Rising Sun. Though the leaves emerge burgundy in the spring, they will change to orange, then yellow, and finally chartreuse green. Due to this transition it will often have all four colors on one branch creating a fiery effect that lasts all season. Make sure to plant in well drained soil where it can get plenty of sun.
