Something new for northern gardeners, a true red macrophylla hydrangea. Stunning, cherry red lace-cap flowers are backed by healthy dark green foliage during the summer. Foliage develops a handsome burgundy color in autumn. Will look best when protected from hot afternoon sun. Flower color will trend towards lavender in strongly acidic soils.
