An old world hollyhock that can bring a classic feel to any garden. Heart shaped, rough basal leaves. Thick stalks reaching up to 6' in height outward facing flowers grow from top to bottom in showy yellow blooms from July to August. Dead-head blooms and remove the stalks to encourage perennial behavior, or leave stalks for self-seeding biennial spreading colonies. Best grown in average to well-drained soils, but can tolerate most soil conditions. Good rust resistance.
