A favorite, native, multi-stemmed tree with masses of white flowers in early spring, followed by a beautiful crop of blue-black edible berries in early summer. Fruit is quite tasty but the birds usually eat them before they fully ripen! Often found growing on the edge of the woods where it is easily noticeable when in flower.
