Amelanchier lamarckii (Clump)

Ordering plants has concluded for the season. The selection on our website is what is overwintered at the nursery. Our Spring 2024 plant catalog will be available later this winter

This Amelanchier is believed to be a cross of two North American species. Like other serviceberries, A. lamarcki  features showy, 5 pedaled white flowers, in drooping clusters in early spring. These flowers are important early food sources for our native pollinators. Edible berries appear in June and are often devoured quickly by birds. Great plant for wildlife. Fall foliage ranges from orange to red and is very attractive.
