This Amelanchier is believed to be a cross of two North American species. Like other serviceberries, A. lamarcki features showy white flowers in drooping clusters in early spring. These flowers are important early food sources for our native pollinators. Edible berries appear in June and are often devoured quickly by birds. Great plant for wildlife. Fall foliage ranges from orange to red and is very attractive.
