Cornus drummondii

Giant Grey Dogwood

Ordering plants has concluded for the season. The selection on our website is what is overwintered at the nursery. Our Spring 2024 plant catalog will be available later this winter

Similar to our more well known grey stem dogwood (Cornus racemosa) but slightly larger and with longer persisting fruit. Can be grown as a large shrub or multi-stemmed small tree depending on how its pruned. Does well in wet, alkaline soils but highly adaptable too. Good fall foliage color and excellent wildlife value.
