Cornus florida is a great small tree for its ornamental features and wildlife benefits. This cultivar was selected for its floriferous nature and disease resistance. Abundant white flowers in spring are attractive to native pollinators and the red berries that follow are adored by migrating birds and other wildlife. Rated to -20 degrees F so it is best planted in the Champlain Valley.
