A cold hardy, and prolific pear tree developed by the U. of Minnesota. Fruit is best picked early and eaten while still firm and crisp. Stores well in fridge but not recommended for canning. Very resistant to fire blight and tolerant of many soil types. Pollinate with 'Parker', 'Patten', or another European pear variety.
