Very similar to the species, this naturally occurring selection has pink tinged flower buds that open white for a lovely show in June to July. Worth visiting while in flower to enjoy the intoxicating fragrance. Can tolerate wet swampy soils where most plants struggle. Prefers acidic conditions, is happy in sun or shade and displays good mildew resistance.
