A unique Rudbeckia with chocolate-brown heads with tiny yellow florets of pollen surrounding it. Makes an excellent cut or dried flower. Prefers sunny moist meadows, not as drought tolerant as other Rudbeckias. Starts blooming in early summer and continues with sporadic blooms through the rest of late summer.
