'North Country' is a cold hardy hybrid of our native highbush and lowbush blueberries. It matures at about half the size of the highbush cultivars, with dense branching and a compact habit. Needs another blueberry variety to pollinate, and would probably be best paired with another half-high hybrid. Blueberries demand acidic soils and will struggle if not appeased in this regard.
