'Prolific' is an early ripening variety that consistently bears good crops of tasty fruit. Pawpaws often start fruiting at an early age, but they require cross-pollination so you will need another cultivar in order to get reliable fruit set. Odd purple-maroon flowers are slightly fragrant and emerge in spring. Fruit is attractive to wildlife.
