'Whitney' is a very hardy, vigorous crabapple that produces large crops of sweet, red, golf ball-sized fruits. These mini apples are great for fresh eating, canning, preserving, and especially cider. An older variety, in production since 1869, it show good scab resistance and is self pollinating. Would make a great pollinator for other apples as well.
