This extremely hardy hedge or filler shrub reaches the ground in a mound of trilobed leaves that turn yellow in the fall. The fruiting of female plants in mid-summer (with the help of a male plant nearby), attracts butterflies and birds, but is not attractive to deer. While these berries are inedible, this plant brings fullness to your landscape.
