A hardy, low maintenance native. Fast growing, especially in moist areas, with beautiful white flowers in spring and edible purple-black fruit in fall. Fruit can be used to make preserves, wine, and herbal remedies. Fantastic food source for wildlife. Typically self-fertile, but plant two for best fruit production.
