An interesting native shrub often found in moist woodlands. Green and purple buds reveal clusters of small cream-white flowers in late spring. Panicles of red fruit are adored by wildlife. A very fine plant for naturalizing along the edge the woods. Adaptable to shady locations but best flowering occurs with more sunlight.
